Front Lawn Installation

At CMT Lawn and Landscape LLC, we take pride in transforming outdoor spaces to create welcoming environments. In this project, we tackled a front lawn installation for a residential property that was in dire need of a refresh. The existing space had patches that showed signs of neglect, which did not reflect the potential beauty the area could achieve.

Our process began with carefully clearing the old, tired lawn. We knew that creating a new base was essential for a thriving lawn that could withstand Michigan’s seasonal climate changes. Using expert techniques, we prepared the ground, ensuring aeration and appropriate soil mixing to set the stage for optimal grass growth.

Once the preparation stage was complete, we moved on to the installation itself. Selecting a blend of grass seeds best suited for the local environment, we applied them with precision, making sure every inch of the lawn had even coverage. We protected this with straw, helping to retain moisture and provide insulation for the seeds.

A project like this always comes with its challenges. The large tree in the front yard complicated the evenness of sunlight distribution, but with strategic planning, we arranged the lawn to make the most of the available light. Balancing nature and design, our goal was met with satisfaction both for us and the homeowners.

The end result is a clean, newly seeded lawn that promises to become a lush, green entrance to the home. As the months progress, the tender care given during installation will blossom into a vibrant, welcoming lawn that complements the beautiful suburban neighborhood.
